This is a shot of my water holding container. The brightness comes from two candles burning bright in the background.
They say - "a picture speaks a thousand words". This is my experiment to see if the quote holds true even for pictures taken by an amateur.

The Talking Goat
Whenever I see this picture I feel the meek animal trying to tell me something. Something like - "Dont click now. Cant you see we are working" :)

At A Mallu Wedding
Last weekend I was in Calicut attending a friends wedding. This is a shot of the ornately decorated stage where the wedding took place. Mallu weddings are one of the fastest wedding I have ever seen.

The Droplet
A droplet of water which fell from the sky as a part of a ferocious hail but was deflected by my windowpane to land on my bed.

Candid Camera
I consider this as a perfect candid Duck Picture :) They were very camera shy initially but with time they got over it and by the end they didnt give a damn.
Burning Filament
The main idea behind this was different. I wanted to click the filament in open air (by breaking the glass shell around it) as soon as it is switched on. However, the unavailability of a remote made me change my plans. I played around with the aperture to focus the burning filament and I was successful to some extent
A street lamp
This picture was a result of my experiment with shutter speed and aperture. It is basically a street lamp during sunset. I decided to click it without flash and as a result of the prevailing darkness I had to slow down the shutter speed to 1 min. After clicking the picture, however i decided to move my camera diagonaly before the shutter closes in. This is what I got :)

The Bug on the Wheat field
This was a very difficult catch. Wanted to click a macro view as well but failed.I guess will need a seperate macro lens for that.
Illuminated Curve
It was a saturday and I was the only creature working on my floor. After 3 hrs of work, i gave in to the silence in the room, took my camera and started looking for things to capture when i saw this.
